Thanks everyone, especially Billy! You all should thank him too. If it wasn't for him, I might not have found this place and certainly wouldn't have been here for 5 years already. Unlike Billy, I jumped in almost instantly. I joined the site and snooped around for a week or so. Then I jumped in with both feet adding cards to my collection and tons of scans. Along the way in that first year, I gained enough points and site knowledge to start fixing SO much missing info in the Racing CL's. I mostly dealt with Racing stuff that year b/c that's what needed the most help. Then I added my baseball and football cards. I still have about 250 NFL cards that need scans here, but I knocked about 100 off that list in the past week or two.
Even after 5 years, I STILL don't have all of my cards listed. Not without trying though. Many of you remember the huge collection I acquired in October of last year that basically doubled my entire collection. That slowed me down tremendously. I think all I have left un-listed is about a third of my NBA collection and then some hand-collated sets of different sports from that auction haul. I got burned out on the card part of the hobby the past several months, but I'm slowly dealing with my cards again. I'll probably get back to trading semi-early in 2020. Even without messing with my cards during those months, I've still been on this site every day or night helping however I can. I've recently cleared out a few hundred cards in sells on the site where Billy and I "met", but that was just b/c I could help out some collector friends and/or their children. So I am slowly starting to mess with the cards again, instead of just the info listed here about cards. What keeps me coming here daily when I am not touching cards is the community and the sheer amount of things that still need to be done here to make it the most complete card listing site in the world. I think it already is that, but there's more to do to keep it that way and expand the gap over the other DB sites.
NO PWE's EVER!!! PLZ PM me 1st before sending any offer. ONLY selling cards as of March 2024. No trades or purchases right now.
