Couldn't find a way to put in an IR for this but there are two separate player pages for Patrick Roy.

When you go to the Edit portion of a player's bio you will see the option to submit and IR. I found this last night when I saw two entries for Robert Brooks (Green Bay WR). I submitted an IR wit hthe links to both PIDs and asked for them to be merged.

NOT duplicates.  There are two Patrick Roy's.  One born in 1965 and one born in 1977.

I'm in the process of fixing these, but please know that the second PID is another player who shares the same name.

He only has one card, and I will contact Admin to have any Patrick Roy cards that are added in the future default to the HOFer.

Yeah, probably should have mentioned to double check to ensure it is indeed the same player of a different one.....

All the HOFer cards associated with the dude with 1 card have been fixed.

I also send Admin a note requesting that the default "Patrick Roy" be the HOFer.

This will happen from time to time with players who share names and are in the same sport.

Regarding duplicate names (not duplicate people) on this site, what is the defacto descriptor rule? When I was looking in the baseball section, sometimes the descriptors are position, sometimes they are year. Wouldn't a full dob be the best to use on all same-names? MM-DD-YYYY format, which would take care of the situations (in baseball that I know of at least) where there are more than one person with the same name born in the same year.
