I tried to search the forums to see if this question had been asked, but after buffering for a couple of minutes I gave up. My question is, Is there an easy way to subtract one card for each number in collection? Here's a sample scenario: I have 3,000 cards of 2007 Topps in a collection, so multiple copies of each. I decide to build another set of 2007 Topps, so I want to remove one card for each card I have in the set from that collection. Is there any way to do that other than going to the card number and hitting remove for each card? I just spent an hour removing 150 cards that way. Every time you hit remove, the page bounces up and you have to wait for it to come back to next number. I realize it's only 5-10 seconds(sometimes more) on each bounce, but when you're removing over 600 cards it's very time consuming. I've had to do this several times when trading starter sets as well, a very slow process. Just thought I would ask. Thanks for the read and if you have any shortcuts or answers, I'd love to hear them!

I haven't tried it yet, but the new mass edit option Admin recently implemented may do the trick?
Edit: And as I posted that I brainfarted that you'd still need to go down each number and manually edit instead of the mass one0time edit option you are asking about. Sigh....

Move all duplicates to FS/FT
Remove all "Collection" info
Move all FS/FT (back) to Collection

For others following Vrooomed’s process, I would recommend you first move the set to its own collection so as not to accidentally mix trader cards and collection cards. Since BobbyL has no traders in his Topps set collection, he should be ok.

It's an "action" just like "Move all duplicates to FS/FT".

vroomed, I guess I'm missing something. I can't see that doing those 3 things will remove one card from each number. The options for "remove" are a remove all cards from collection, remove all cards from for/sale/trade, remove all cards In transaction, remove all cards In transit, remove all cards from wantlist.

Do you have "Move duplicates to FS/FT" available to you?

All the cards are considered duplicates. I'm trying to delete one card of each number, so I can build another set. I do see that on the option list, and I have move all cards to FS/FT.

You're clearly not following.
You have them all listed as in "Collection", right?
I have set something up myself like this - here you see a set where I have varying amounts of cards in my Collection. The option is there for "Move all duplicates to For Sale/For Trade list".
When you do that - 1 copy of each will be left in your Collection.
Then you delete the cards in your Collection (the FS/FT cards will remain).
Then you move the FS/FT back into your collection.
All card amounts are decremented by 1.
