Yes I know the procedere, I know how to add the cards.
Do you all click on every single item on a 1500+ cards collection to add them to you haves/want? That would drive me crazy even if it was just 100 cards. And if you collect 50 sets, you do this 50 times for haves and 50x for needs?
I usually work with excel sheets and going to copy and paste the numbers I have and need to sites I use, this is why I dont use TCDB much. But this is a very good site, has many contributors and I want to be a part if it, so Isnt there an easier way?

Others will post about quick methods to log in your cards. One note for you, if you are collecting a complete set, you can enter in the cards you have, then there is a “action” drop-down where you can select “Add all missing cards to want list”, or “Add all missing cards to want list (without ERR/VAR)” so you don’t need to enter every need one by one.

I did this with about 40K cards 3 years ago. At the time, I did it the hard way, one-by-one, but if I were to do it now I'd do it this way:
1. For complete or nearly complete sets, I'd use the 'Add all missing cards to collection' option
2. For random other stuff, I'd add it by selecting each card or looking them up by number on the Collection Summary option.
3. For wantlists you can search by team, set, player and 'Add all missing cards to wantlist' You can filter by year and all sorts of things. Note: If you have a wantlist over 150K-ish cards, the group move to wantlist won't work. you have to do it one-by-one as there is a limit around that mark where a mass move won't work likely due to some limits on queries or some other DB related thing.

I'm not sure what you want to use the site for but it might be easier depending on your purpose.
Example: I only want to sell cards - You really only need to enter your for sale/trade list.
Example: I only want to sell & trade - You need a for sale/trade list and a want list. You don't need to add your collection.
Example: I want to track my collection - You will need to add the cards manually.

50 to 100 cards would probably take me five minutes, even if that, to enter as long as they were all in the same set. I just did a 4-row box of Topps Heritage, same year, that was in number order with multiples in about an hour. With Topps Heritage it can be beneficial to do them manually due to the VARs...I just pulled a $100 Tatis "error" VAR out of a box the other day because the checklist showed all the different VARs which in turn prompted me to look at all of them to see if I had one. It does take longer to do a box of cards that are from different sets.

that would sound good if its not only for 102 cards in total... "all" would solve all the problems :)
93k cards in 3 weeks.... If its 20.000 collections i´d be impressed ... I mean, 93k cards is like 150 collections?
If I have them prepared in Excel, that would take 2 hrs to bring them to TCDB .... if only the restrictions of "add multiple" will be gone, but thanks for your input!

Just to give an idea of how large some collections entered into here really are.

If you have them in excel, and have the card numbers as a single column, you could copy the column of card numbers and paste it into the “Add by card number” text box. Not sure how many cards can be added at once, but this could be a relatively quick process.

Understand! And I understand everyone putting countless hours into that hobby, but I loose interest if the outcome "swapping" is lower then "time". I have a full time job and a family, if I imagine adding 2.000.000 cards BY HAND, i would most probably lost interest long time ago.
I startet collecting almost 3 years ago and have arround 200 collections with arround probably 10.000 cards/stickers in total. As said, I have an excel template I can use for all new collections. I just have to set a mark for "have" or "need", count the douplicates, filter for "need", copy paste into site, delete fitler and filter again for "have greater 0", copy, paste to site. an example - see here

Id love to do that on TCDB ....
Adding multiple is the right direction for me, but not with the 102 count limitation ...
