I forget exactly how I found the site either from a Google search for some card related thing or from a member from another forum telling of a great card database site they discovered.
My profile shows I became a member in 2011. I think I may have lurked around the site several months before actually signing up. I do recall it was a bit confusing at first figuring out how to add my collection to the site.

I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies). My Trade List is very much a work in progress CaptKirk42s Trading Card Blog Curly W Cards Strive For '65 YouTube klandersen42

I found the site via a search while trying to figure out what year a card I had scanned was. After I took my break from the NBA in 2006 I didn't look at them at all, and when I began to scan them for my own website, after finishing NASCAR and non-sports, I couldn't remember what each insert set came out of. That led me here. I no longer remember which card it was. I joined on August 31st, 2011, and I submitted one card scan. It didn't show up (as there is a delay for new users) and that kind of put me off, so between then and October 2012 when I really joined up I used it solely as a checklist site. I don't remember what prompted me to start cataloging my collection on here anymore, but I'm sure glad I did. This is my favorite website on the internet- including my own, which I still run after more than 12 years.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. NJDevils: Happy Anniversary! (A day early)
If you PM me your address I'll drop a Royals card in the mail to you. Let me know your favorite player. I'm sure I have a duplicate of just about everyone that has played for them.
This is a great site and has grown a lot in the 4+ years since I joined. I log on every day to see the RCotD and read forum postings. I seldom comment but always enjoy the stories and usually friendly banter. I was looking for a site that listed Royals cards for ease in creating lists of missing cards. It's amazing to discover the incredible number of cards, in every sport and non-sport that are out there.

Your gift should be arriving shortly. Just don't drive it too fast and always wear your seatbelt.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
