I can honestly see both sides of the issue (I'm a never peel guy, though I won't kick a peeled card out of my collection and they do look shinier.) However, I am having a hard time drawing the distinction between this and a 1980-81 Topps basketball scenario, where we have versions of both perforated and non-perforated cards in the database. They are the same cards, issued the same way. Some people have kept the cards intact and some have perforated. By this logic, it makes sense to me to have parallel sets.

My assumption was this had been changed, I thought the same with checklists, if removed the original person lost the points and the kudos. Am I wrong? Could be, I think its happened before. =)

I too will remain Switzerland as I do see both sides of the debate. I know what to do with my collection but the TCDB is a completely different beast.

If Admin removes the image, then the person uploading the new image "gets credit". If Admin does not remove the old image and you upload an image where someone else's was not as good, the "credit" remains with the original uploader.

If they don't want to take protective cover off, Don't!!!!!!!!!! Take pic then, simple....
