Poll of the Day

Thursday, May 9, 2024

You're the CEO of a non-sport card company and you're planning to release a set based on a movie. Unfortunately, during the pitch meeting, your team members could only gain the rights to gawd-awful movies. The deadline is soon and you have to choose one. Which of these flicks do you choose?

  • 14%
    Battlefield Earth (2000)

  • 9%
    The Room (2003)

  • 6%
    Troll 2 (1990)

  • 4%
The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002)

  • 41%
    Showgirls (1995)

  • 3%
    Birdemic (2010)

  • 2%
    Gigli (2003)

  • 4%
    Jack and Jill (2011)

  • 5%
    From Justin to Kelly (2003)

  • 12%
    House of Wax (2005)

I've only seen 3 or 4 of the movies listed and I wasn't picking Gigli or House of Wax. On a side note,  would the Showgirls card set be rated NC-17 or R ?

Yeah. I forgot to add a note for "Showgirls" saying the cards had to be "tastefully done" with "no nudity."

So that limits the amount of screen time from the movie to use images to about 8 minutes.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

We'll leave it as is. Can't go back on it now! lol I'll have the results of this poll tie into the next CEO-based poll I'll make.

I only know 'House of Wax' as the 1953 version was a Vincent Price film and I absolutely love Vincent Price films.
