I bought this card, #48 Jamaal Charles, on ebay and was curious of the description that it had no serial number. It looks just like the other card I have of this player, but no foil stamped serial number on the back. Would it be considerd a printing error? Could it be a promo type card?

I can't say for sure but the numberless versions are usually damaged card replacements.

it is the 2011 Limited Threads Prime.. different numbering within the set, SN25, 50 etc. the SN should have been stamped on the back of the card where his jsy number is... this card was #50- there was one on ebay that also sold without a SN on it (same card). it's quite possible the stamper missed it or if it was the cheesy glued stamps that it fell off.. i've had cards before with both situations. The one scanned on the site here does have SN stamped on it. every now and then you'll come across one like that.

Tonym...the card that is loaded on the site is mine and it does have the stamped S/N. This one I just bought and it doesn't have the S/N.
