From my box of ( What The Hell Is This ) I found 9 cards that look like this card and also the 5 cards listed in the Data Base under the heading of 1991 Topps- Instant Win Game. All 14 cards look almost alike except for the first line of the section that looks like an address., All the cards start with TOPPS and after that on the first line everything is different.
Do we input another NNO card for all the different cards, add them to something close or just throw them back into the (What The Hell Is This Box) ?
I am open to suggestions ( ones in good taste) from anyone. Thanks in advance... Paul...//

No, not a variation, just the "ticket" number. Winning tickets started with "X".

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

This is akin to a serial number on a card.

Looks like the different numbers "Topps A 12345 ABC" are some kind of code number for the contest. If you had a winning card with the X code "Topps X 12345 XYZ" there would be a mailing address where the text that says "Mailing Address Appears Only ON Winning Cards With X Number" is.
The database shows an "A" card marked as the Winning "X" card. I think that front image should be deleted as wrong image. The database has A, B, C, D cards each with the "proper" scanned image. I wonder did they have 26 different "variants" one for each letter? If so then when it gets to Y and Z what did they do?
The pattern seems to be Topps -then a single letter- then a series of 5 random numbers - then 3 concecutive letters starting with the single letter that was between Topps and the numbers. So did they have 24? or maybe 26 variants? What did they do when it came to the Y and Z cards?

In a way this is a BUMP////
I have 36 cards and there are 5 more listed on the site for a total of 41 different cards which look the same except for one line of print on the front of the card. Though no one has answered my original question, Captkirk42 has come the closest to what I was trying to ask.
I understand that most of you wonderful members think that I am stupid because of the questions that I ask, buy I am just a 76 year old man who has been collecting sports cards for over 60 years, in at least 10 different countries trying to get my collection ready for my family when I pass away.
So in accordance with your input I will throw them back in my ( What the Hell Is This Box ) . Thanks.. Paul..

Paul,
A couple points:
1 - This member does not think you're stupid. As a fully active member in the card hobby for as long I have been (and the various roles I've been in), I understand how confusing the hobby became. Personally, I miss the days of the Topps and OPC baseball sets - and them being it except for some food issues here and there.
2 - I think we all were clear about these - the first line of text seems to be similar to that of a serial number - Or like the Topps Attax code card numbers. We don't catalog every single one of those. Why would we do the same here?
3 - I wish you the best and hope you're able to help your family out. BTW, are you starting to sell off anything yet?

Paul,
If you're stupid, I hate to think where I am on the scale. You bring more experience to this site but in the vintage sets where to me it really matters. When it comes to all ofthese "variations" that come up, I am as lost as you are and often have to go looking in my traders tosee ifI have any. What amazes me most is how people actually pick up on these variations.
As for this particular card, I know I have a bunch of them as well. The line "TOPPS A 12352 ABC" will vary on all of the cards produced, or at least that is what should be. The good thing about possibly having to put these back in the "What the Hell Is This" box, I don't think it will ever have much value.
As for asking questions, continue to do so. I know I learn a lot from some of the more knowledgeable members on the site. Before this site, I thought I knew a lot; I don't.
