Does anyone know anything about a gold colored back on this card? Or is there other cards like this? I got it decades ago, out of a pack i believe, before all the backdoor material came out. I actually have 2 of them. Thanks for the help!

Looks like the wrong cardstock was used.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

It's the same feel, same thickness. Wasn't sure if there were other cards that were similar. Odd i have 2 of them. So a card that can't be added to the database then?
Thanks!

The cardstock on the left does not have the layer of white paper. It's "raw", "unfinished" cardboard. How many are out there? Depends on how many sheets of unfinished cardstock were fed through the printer.
Can it be added to the database? I think that would depend on how much of the set was affected. One full sheet of 132 cards? And just one sheet or hundreds of those sheets. Or the whole set? Whole set would be a parallel listing. And, with Admin's approval, if only a few of the cards in the set are affected and numerous examples can be found, VARs.

The 1990 FB ProSets are a mess. There are so many VARS, that many general collectors are not aware of . They are also not listed here on TCDB. I have lists and lists of them. Not just 1 card but many, whether it is called an ERR/COR or VAR. I have many that look like the 1 pictured. List or not?

#135 - Rohn Stark - Indianapolis Colts
Here's a perfect example: The foot over the letters STARK can be found left or right. Very visible, not a miscut, STARK is in a different place on the card. Now is this a VAR or ERR/COR or nothing? If submitted does it get accepted? Just sayin'

That's due to the printing process. I would imagine the team/name printing plates are separate from the photo printing plates. So they don't always lineup from sheet to sheet. They might have printed all the photos, then printed (added) all the borders, names/teams.
No different then out of register colors, where the different colors don't lineup properly. And give you that "blurry" look.
