These are not a mystery to me but probably are to others. Wondering if they would warrant inclusion into TCDB?
I have searched for info many times and just today found one on ebay confirming basically what I know about them.
There were 4 8 x 10 photos regionally issued by Burger King in 1977 (I thought 1978 but other source says 77). All are blank backed.
They Feature Dave Rozema, Mark Fidrych, Ron Le Flore, and Mickey Stanley.
If anyone has any knowledge/information on these I would liek to hear.
Ed

Sorry, The B&W was a typo in the title and I am unsure why the photo is upside down (its not on my computer).

Since they are strictly photos, not postcard type cards or photo cards given away at Team events (both of which are included on TCDB) I would ask ADMIN because they were distributed by a "card distriubuter" of the time frame (those late 70s Burger King sets).

These are photos issued by a food retailer, not a card maker. Topps made the cards for Burger King when BK distributed cards with their food.
This is not an item that should be included on this site.

Whoa......Topps [maker] made the cards....BK [food issue] distributed them. I don't see why they are not allowed. Card Co. #1 and Food Issue #2 .

Topps made the Burger King cards that are listed here. Topps did not make these 8x10 photos.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

My initial thought is they would not qualify. They are not marked in any way. Most likely approved by The Detroit Tigers similar to a team issue but offered through BK. I wish there was more information available other than just recollection from 40 years ago.

Bob - sorry I wasn't clear. Topps made cards. BK did not make cards. That was my point.
Jason - thanks for clarifying.
Kyle - no, these don't match.
These do not belong here. They are simply 8x10 photos, not known to be made by a card company. If you think these belong here, then you probably think the McDonald's glasses belong here because they put out football cards in the mid-80s.
