There is a checklist for this set, but there is no identification on individual cards. To my knowledge, there is no place online to see who's who in the set. I'm posting some of my best guesses in the database. Can anyone help me identify some of the others I have? Keep in mind- the pictures are like reversed negatives- lefties look like righties and vice versa.

I have been working
on this disaster
for years. I have
a 22 of 25 of them
scanned at the
following address
with guesses at:
http://www.getthatca
rd.com/caffeine .
I have 2 links
there, one that
shows the checklist
and what I think
the tattoos could
be, and another one
that has side by
side comparison of
the base set and
the corresponding
tattoo. I haven't
had much luck in
getting scans of
all of the tattoos
however. I also
have no idea how
Nomar got in the
tattoos when he
doesn't have a base
card. Not all of
the tattoos are
reversed negatives
(Sammy Sosa's
tattoo is
the "homer hop").

Wow- nice work on your part. I don't have Sosa, and definitely agree with you on which pose is his. Do you think you can post the scan on here?
Being a Mets fan, I'm pretty confident I have the David Wright and Carlos Beltran poses down.
The key to Thome and Giles might be the shin guards they're wearing.
Unkown #20 is definitely Alfonso Soriano- could you post that one, too?

I'm working on
updating my site,
and I've uploaded a
couple of these
now. I didn't
realize anyone had
uploaded some of
these, and was
pleasantly
surprised to see 2
of the ones I
hadn't seen
before. Now I have
scans of 24 of the
25. Still need to
figure out the last
9 (including the
missing scan).

The more I think about, the more I think that:
Image 10 IS Gary Sheffield
and
Image 19 is A Rod

I thought I replied
earlier, but...
here it is again:
I just came back
here to ask if you
thought 19 was
Arod, because I
found it on another
website, and there
is the answer from
you. Wish I could
find the elusive
25th scan, then
we'd probably get a
lot closer to
getting this thing
solved.

I've never seen these, so I'm definately no expert. But looking at the sosa on the link above, I believe he is a reverse negative. If you reverse it, it looks like it was taken from 1st base.

Caffeine-
Unknown 4- Torri Hunter. Check out how baggy his jersey looks.
I think the last pose youre missing is Piazza. I havent seen anything that looks like him - and I'm a Mets fan who saw quite a bit of him and his cards.

Unknown 18- Adrian Beltre? I've seen pictures/other cards of him with shin guard on.

I'm not sold on
Unknown #4 being
Torii Hunter,
because the tattoo
represents a lefty,
but he's a righty.
I also don't see a
shin guard in
Unknown #18.
