Was looking over my collection of 1974-75 OPC hockey when i stumbled on the Fred Stanfield card (#31) , the card front is Stanfield but the card back is upside down and is of Buffalo coach Floyd Smith (#176).

Have you ever heard of this?

It happens occasionally with cards from that era. I haven't heard of that for hockey cards before though. Checking Ebay, there are a couple 74-75 OPC WHA wrong back cards listed right now https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=1974-75+opc+wrong+back&_sacat=0

Wrong backs are cool, but are not usually very valuable unless they're of a very good player. Then a player collector might spend a lot.

We hear about these - a lot.

They sometimes can net a seller more than a common card, but all in all, it's nothing that's going to be earth-shattering.

Does anyone on here collect wrong backs? I've got a few sitting around that I'd trade for pretty much anything on my wantlist, but can't list 'em anywhere. If you (or anyone you know) collects those, LMK and I'll send 'em over.
