Actually, I cannot find any of these three cards in the database, any help.

I agree with you on this....I have submitted several cards as missing and get the response that is was a "Print Error" and therefore not listed...aren't all errors really print errors?

There is a difference on errors. Errors of data such as DOB or statistics being wrong are listed as ERR or UER if not corrected on a  second print run. Print errors where missing dots in abbreviations when the same card is also found with the dots are listed as VAR. Print errors where it is a step that was missed in the making of the card or an error when the printing run was done such as missing foil print, color variations due to missing an ink run, and wrong back variations where the wrong sheet was fed through the printer are all not listed here.  Of course there are exceptions such as the 1990 Topps Frank Thomas "no name" VAR only because of it being highly recognized in the hobby. Any exception to these basic guidelines has to be approved by Admin (the guy who owns the site, not those who think they do).

I believe there's a distinction between a difference in the printing plate, such as "USA" vs "U.S.A." (which is listable) and something like the cyan being inadvertently left off the print run (which is not). 

I'm by no means an expert but I think those are the types of differences that allow something to be listable vs. not.

I tried to submit a 90's hockey card with the wrong name printed on the front (in foil).  I have both versions.  It's the same photo, back, etc. on both cards except for the name.  The reply I got is that it was a printing error and not listable.
