I was the first person to upload an image for this set, and at the time the SN's were not listed, so I posted this scan of my card and set the SN500 on it. Since then, the SN for the whole set has been re-entered as 1200 (including the Kordell Stewart), however, mine clearly is not numbered to 1200, but to 500. Does anyone know if maybe mine is a promo or something? I have not been able to find any information so far on the Kordell Stewart #'d to 500.

I tend to agree with the 1st reply to the cards I.D. - I cannot find a duplicate that has the "CS###/500" on any images or even "closed or completed sales" filters on several auction sites. It's a 1996 Collectors Edge Presidents Reserve - New Regime" and There are are other types that are not Die Cut like this set. The 12K runs are abundant on eBay & COMC but the /500 limit isn't seen. You can contact the card manufacturer for details if they still answer phones which many people have forgotten how to do these days.
I have TONS of Football Cards from the late 80's to the end of the 90's and some after but this year in particular I have his RC x 10 in about every Hobby Shop or Hobby Production ran products or cards and that's also an issue in getting card I.D. Retail cards are not usually as nice or desirable and do not have (back then mote than now, Hobby Shops had to order over a case to even sell Hobby Packs instead of Retail." - so this could be a card that a QVC sold via retail or a type they agreed to sell on the air for Collectors Edge so to promote the brand. Sorry about not being exact here and if you're a Stewart fan I have RC's & and more x 10 as I bet but I'm still collating what I store by years and not sports on purpose so to go thru later and rediscover those GEMS you miss like a Offensive Tackle like Larry Allen RC being a $300 PSA 10, so I'm finding as I go thru the 65K cards I have....

This particular one couldn't have been from a home shopping network because I pulled it from a pack. As for contacting Collector's Edge, they folded many years ago, and I don't know who if anyone ever picked up their rights.

I don't think you could have. Beckett says they were sold as complete sets and CS stands for complete set. I'm positive they were sold through a home shopping network.

Maybe pulled from a re-pack?

Technically it was a re-pack, but not in the sense you're probably thinking. It was a full, sealed pack of 1996 Collector's Edge President's Reserve from one of those Mayfield Holdings tins with a bunch of different packs. Those packs seemed to contain other cards that weren't normally inserted into packs as well. I also have a 1996 CE President's Reserve Time Warp card of Jack Youngblood and Brett Favre that doesn't have a serial number and doesn't match the Time Warp or Time Warp CS sets listed here that I was told were only given out at the National Convention that year, but I found it in a pack somehow.
