It's funny, I haven't watched wrestling since I was kid, and yet I'm genuinely saddened by this news. The Hart Foundation was my favorite tag team, and just like that another piece of my childhood has gone. RIP Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart.

My first thought when I saw the thread title was the heavy metal band, Anvil.

My jaw dropped as I knew exactly who you were talking about. Wrestlers I watched and even a fair amount of sports athletes I watched as a kid are now passing away. Sometimes it's tough to admit when you are getting old. The Anvil was a great entertainer.

I watch wrestling and I know exactly who this is about. Bret Hart's brother in law. RIP Anvil.

These guys used to come around my parts when I was a kid. The boys were all part of Stampede Wrestling in most of Canada. Came on every Saturday at noon. Close to home these boys were, most of em all started out of Calgary. RIP.

Anvil was a great band! But it was sad news for wrestling fans as well...
