Canadian members,
I have 3 shipments I need to get out to Canadian addresses. Next week, I will be in Canada for a couple days.
Does CP use zone rates for large boxes (say 10-15 kg). Small bubble mailers?
I would be sending from Westport, ON.
Any help would be great. If it can be less that way, I'll hold off and carry the stuff up there and send it.

Dan,
For the small/medium bubbles, No domestic zones.
For the large packages, yes. But I'm not in tune with the fees. You may want to research the fees before you come here. I have found that larger bubbles/small packages can cost more to mail domestically than internationaly because tracking is built in. .

Honestly, I would mail the packages from the US instead of bringing them into Canada. It is liable to be cheaper.
PWEs or greeting cards would probably be cheaper to mail from within Canada.

I find Canada Post’s website quite helpful.
For basic rates, I usually start here: https://www.canadapost.ca/cpc/en/personal/sending/letters-mail/postage-rates.page
They have a rate calculator also. If you go to a CP outlet, they do have boxes that are pay one price (3 different sizes for 3 different weights).

I don't know if you're driving or flying. But I would not seal the packages. If they pick you for a search and you have them sealed. They are going to open them to see what is in them. Better safe than annoyed.

Thanks for the tip. We're driving for this one, so it shouldn't be an issue.

So in case anyone gives a rat's hindquarters, I wound up only having 2 packages to send to Canada as the other deal fell through. One is a bubble mailer and the other is a pretty sizable box. Thanks to the link vanoirm posted, I was able to navigate to the package rates, and found that I can ship the box for about $20 CDN in Canada, or about $34 US from home. The nice part will be no customs forms. :)
And so with that, I will be out of here shortly. I don't know if I'll have any time to log on Sunday night upon returning, but will definitely be on on Monday. (Don't flood the IRs! LOL)
