Hi, Trying to gather data on using ADF Scanners. I like the idea of speed and mass scanning, especially with so many cards in my collection.
So, Does any member use one? Which one?
Also, Does anyone use Kronocard from Kronozio? Pros, Cons?

I had never heard of them until the video posted last week so new to me as well. I recall others stating they were expensive.

I've been keeping an eye on the Fujitsu iX500 ScanSnap. It's the one I saw in a video of Burbank Sportscards scanning their cards. At $500 I can't see myself getting one anytime soon. Check YouTube for people scanning their trading cards.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I own the Fujitsu iX500 ScanSnap. My work place had one so I tried to run some cards through it and found it extremely easy to use and did not damage my cards. I only use it for base cards and some inserts. It scans back and front which I like alot. But you also have the option to only scan one side.
I bought it on sale from Amazon i believe.

Thanks.....I was looking at the Scan Snap as well. I really would like one however that is compatible with Kronocard. Right now they only support; EPSON 510, 560 and FUJITSU fi 6130z and 7160. Unfortunately, these ADF are either discontinued or pricey.
Please keep the comments coming, ~BOB~

Well for my birthday, I picked up an EPSON DS 510 ADF Scanner super cheap. Now I will try scanning my for sale/trade cards, and give Kronozio a look see. Keep you posted.

Unsung hero. The person who is a hero but goes unrecognized. Nobody "sings their praises", so they go unsung.

Reviving a 2-year old thread.
So I scanned a sample batch of cards with an ADF printer. Scans looked fantastic. Set them up in a dedicated file on my computer. NOW, when I go to upload to TCDB, some come up in the Things to do Crop Feature.
So, What is wrong? Why won't the upload work? Correction- the upload works but not acceptable. Question?- Did I receive points for the upload? or Do you receive points when they are "fixed" to acceptable?
Now, I have been fixing other submitted scans recently.....who gets points, the original scanner or me? There must be an awful lot of members scanning and not receiving points, if they go to the "fixer". lol.

I don't pay a lot of attention to the points so I am not sure on this. I think at first your cards will go to the "Things to do". Then after you show you are capable of providing decent scans, you are able to accept instantly or they go into your personal Queue where you can let them sit for autp later upload or accept them yourself from there. On points I cannot answer that part.
Hope this helps
