Saturday night and I am on here while the wife edits photo's for a real estate job she did tonight. Trying to schedule a time with my daughter, son in law and grand kids before they leave for China some time this month. Tired as F*** and trying to load cards and read all the posts. Had a nice Rum and Coke earlier and hope to get some sleep soon. This place is therapy for me.

You are the "hot head" for a reason and I am "spaz" for a reason. That reason is sometimes alcohol!!! Alcohol fuels truth in forums though. Don't be ashamed unless you realize that you typed something stupid or thoughtless. I'm not "drunk" yet, but more than a 6-pack of beer is gone. Unfortunately, that means I won't be contributing anything to the site tonight (besides forum replies). Actually, I guess that is fortunate for the site b/c I won't screw up anything in my inebriated state. Last night I was adding to an AU'd NFL set from 2014 with missing notes and most of the CL's for the parallels, but that is too confusing to continue tonight. I plan to get back to that during the races on Sunday, before I start drinking during the Southern 500 NASCAR race.

DON'T FORGET THE WATER THOUGH! Plenty of water after you are done drinking alcohol helps a lot for when you wake up. I usually eat before I go to sleep after a night of drinking and I keep a bottle of water by the bed. Drinking Gatorade after you get out of bed helps too if you drank way more than you should have or had a restless night of sleep. Water is generally the best, but sometimes I need more substance than water provides. Gatorade (or Orange Juice) provides a bit more than water does without the bloated belly of over-consumption of liquids.

I'm betting that it was the noise!

Okay, maybe it wasn't. In the southeast US, that would be more of a problem than the burning rubber smell. Then again, I am also used to hearing gunfire at any time of the day from hunters and smelling smoke from fireplaces at all times, especially when it's slightly chilly at night here. The gunfire makes me jump when I'm outside, but the smell is a common thing. Live bands have been a consistent party thing around the neighborhood for the past couple of months though. It's actually kind of odd here, but I haven't been bothered by it so far. If I can only hear it outside of the house, then I am okay with it. Country-living would be much nicer without all the gunfire whenever any hunting season opens!

Why did you delete your original post? You can't just back out of a conversation you started. ;) You should feel no embarrassment for saying what you did. I haven't deleted any of my posts here. I still have no regrets about my replies.

Occassionally, a drunken post is a good thing. As long as people keep talking and aren't being negative, it's usually a pretty good conversation.
