Paul Foytack Forum

Paul Foytack, former Tigers and Angels righthander who once gave up four consecutive homers, died in Spring Hill, Tennessee, recently at age 90.

That's too bad. In one my of my 16-game Stratomatic seasons, the 1961 Tigers were one of the teams. The finished in last, 9 games out of first, with a record of 2-14. Foytack tied for the league lead in losses, with 4. Though he didn't allow 4 consecutive homers. You'd think he'd have been taken out after the third.

I just realized he spent a year in Japan, going 2-3 with a 3.14 ERA for the Chunichi Dragons in 1965.
