Anyone know anything about this card or set? (is there a set?)
Received this in a recent trade. Trade partner had this catalogued as a 2008 Donruss Elite but when I was putting it in my binder the front of the card stood out (the lines and word Collections are embossed). On the back I noticed the “Donruss Collections 405” stamp in the bottom left. Doesn’t match the image of the regular 1998 Donruss Elite, and I can’t find this one when searching Maddux’s page filtering by card #5 and 1998

Filter on card number 405 for maddux.

Thanks!!! I thought the set was “Donruss collections 405” and the card number was #5 in the top right. Odd design choice. But thanks for the help!

For whatever reason, a 90s thing, Donruss/Leaf decided to reprint all their sets as Donruss Collections. Each card, as you've seen, got unique numbering on top of some special treatment on the cards.
