So does this mean that my card, without the decimal and with the differently aligned Highlights text, is the non-factory card, and that there never was a 'corrected' version for the non-factory card?

What this means is that (like most Donruss errors) the Factory set card corrected the error and that correction was never put into packs (like the 1984 NNO Ron Darling and the 1985 Tom Seaver and "Jeff" Pendleton cards).
I have put in for some of these images to be removed. And I see that Admin has already removed them. Still more work to be done.

But if the only error is the missing decimal point then why is the text aligned differently? That's what's confusing me.

They altered the text on most (if not all) of the factory set versions. If you open two browser tabs and look any any card in both sets, you'll see the difference in the text on the backs.

So then should I upload my card as the uncorrected error for the non-factory set?

Don't mark it as UER. It's just a text layout difference between the factory set and the packed out cards. In this cse, 2 different sets for the card.

The card for the non-factory set now has images (mine, sorry). I have changed it be an UER because it is missing the decimal point before the career batting average. I also noted that it is "fixed" in the Factroy set version. The second card in the base set is slated to have the images and collection info moved over to the Factory Set and then the second card will be removed.
Please do not add any images at this time.
