Was wondering if the below listed seperately sets should be combined since the number seems to suggest a complete set. I have seen them listed seperately elsewhere and I was tracking them as seperate. But the other leagues are togethers for the 7th Inning Sketch cards for this year????
1990-91 7th Inning Sketch ECHL Cincinnati Cyclones |
1990-91 7th Inning Sketch ECHL Hampton Road Admirals |
1990-91 7th Inning Sketch ECHL Knoxville Cherokees |
1990-91 7th Inning Sketch ECHL Richmond Renegades |
1990-91 7th Inning Sketch ECHL Winston-Salem Thunderbirds |

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

This will be interesting to see how this goes. We have had similar sets in minor league baseball, and when it's been consectutive numbering, it's been treated as one large set - even though the distribution of the cards were team-set-based.
If we use baseball as the precedent of these, they should be combined into one set. If these are deemed to be separate team sets, I would contend that the ProCards sets of late 80s/early 90s that are in the thousands of cards should be broken by team set.

The other league sets (OHL, WHL) could be had as a factory set. So they definitely should stay listed as one set. I don't know if the ECHL cards were ever issued as a factory set or distributed as separate team sets/packs.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Yeah that is tough to determine, did you check your Charlton avs? What did they have? Interesting to know since they were one of the Premier catalogs for hockey cards before they got taken for a ride. =(

Sounds like if the numbering is consecutive, they should be one set. Also, something seems inherently wrong with a company with the word inning in it doing hockey cards. Where is the Stanley Cup baseball set?

I checked the two versions I have, not listed, did some more research and initially it looks like 7th Inning issued one set per team in the ECHL. So it might be just a seperate issue per team. Will keep looking.

My opinion is to group them as one set, since they're consecutively numbered. Then add a set note that each team was as issued as a separate set.

~Rob~ Hockey set collector including inserts, ERR, COR, VAR. Knowledgeable about 1968-69 to 1994-95 hockey. All 1990 and newer cards for trade are NRMT. Expect the same in return. 1989 and older are assigned a grade. Everything on my trade list is available for sale. Reasonable prices based on condition. If it's not on my tradelist, it's not available.

These minor league issue sets are odd at times, I would confer with Admin since the answer is not concrete here on the forums. I could see it go either way but if there is no proof that they were intended as a set can we make that call, I think Admin should.
