I was able to pull two full sets from my parents house last night and I have seen a good number of variation a and b. This includes the "BC" cards as well. if there is a need to verify/validate any others, let me know and I will detail the 1200 cards I have at home....

If you have access to the spreadsheet Dan has indicated which card #'s have been fully validated and which ones are still pending verification

If anyone needs any research material I have a 3200 count box in addition to the 1800 listed in my FS/FT list and maybe a couple complete sets.
I just cannot get myself to chase after periods and asterisks.

This is definitely one case where I'll take any of the 4 for the set in my collection and I won't give it a second thought. But in the interest of the database, I chased down all the periods and asterisks I could...

I am too close on some of the sets to not finish them. The No period / 2* is an interesting one and will be difficult. I probably won't ask for them in trade but if I get a bunch in a lot, I will check them to see if any can help finish the set.
But I do agree, chasing the "." is silly; the * not so much.

Done through card # 360. By my count no period / 1* has one card not identified as existing. No period / 2* is the rare one at 64 crads not identified as existing. The other two VAR are 360 for 360.
As I wnet through #s 201 to 360 today, I found that around the 260 mark, the period / 1* increased dramatically in quantity. Till then, I often only had the one of while the 2* VAR I had 10+. Now they are about equal in quantity.
