Greetings,
I know there already a lot of variations and UER's in this set, but half of the Angels cards have a yellow halo on the logo (correct) and half have a white halo on the logo (incorrect). I know these are considered UER's. Should they be added to the data base?
12 of the 24 Angels Cards in the base set have the white halo. For what it's worth, all 6 Angels cards in the 1990 Fleer Update Set have white halos.
For reference, the white halo base set cards are:
#126 Tony Armas
#127 Dante Bichette
#131 Mike Fetters
#133 Willie Fraser
#134 Bryan Harvey
#135 Jack Howell
#137 Jeff Manto
#138 Kirk McCaskill
#139 Bob McClure
#142 Dan Petry
#145 Lee Stevens
#148 Mike Witt

Are you sure they are UER and not an intentional design choice by Fleer?

Not sure if this was by choice. Don't see why it would be, although the white/yellow halos also appear in the 1988 and 1989 Fleer Sets. The Angels logo never had a white halo; it was yellow on the hats and uniforms, so who knows?

Exactly. Who knows? We don't, so we can't say that they were errors or not. We shgouldn't add UERs for these (or the other years).
When it comes to design elements, we don't add UER notation. If it's something factual, such as an incorrect stat, wrong spelling, or biographical error (wrong birth date, birth place, etc.), then we'll consider adding UER notation.

I see it the same as any other "incorrect" team colors design elements.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

But this is not really a “design element” decision. The team logo is trademarked, and the cards have the TM marking by the logos. If they made an error by displaying an incorrect logo, shouldn’t that be a UER?

Well is it a case of no yellow or not enough yellow? Is yellow missing in the photos also? I have a hard time telling the difference between yellow and white sometimes.

There is no yellow at all on the halo in the logo (completely white), but yellow is present elsewhere on the card, such as on the hat, jersey etc. of the player.

As an example, compare the logo (upper right) difference between #130 Brian Downing and #131 Mike Fetters.
There are two other yellow halos on the Fetters card (Hat, jersey) but the Fleer produced Angels logo halo is completely white.
Not sure how to attach photos to this post, but check those two cards out.
