This is the 5th or so time this has happened to me over the years!

Usually its HOF inductee announcement cards, but this is the second "legend gets honored" card I had to remove from a list, as that card was for the unveiling of Jackie Robinson's statue outside Dodger Stadium back in 2017.

I mean, its not a big deal to go hunting TCDB for a new card depicting Jackie's statue, or a card approximating the pose the statue depicts for my Dodger Stadium list https://www.tcdb.com/List.cfm/lid/8107/MLB-Stadium-Statues-Los-Angeles-Dodgers

 But I'm just curious as to what the issue is with Topps Now cards getting replaced?  I'm assuming then that the "scan" originally uploaded was lifted from an internet photo?

From what I've seen for most of the Topps Now and Panini Instant sets, yes, lifted from Internet/mock-ups and not a real scan.

Checking inaccuracy reports it looks like the image there might've been mock-ups from Topps and not actual scans.

All of the original “scans” were mock-ups from Topps.  The date for each scan was the same date as on the card, which was impossible. I put in the IR to have them all removed back in January.
