Quick summary:
Of the 770 cards in the set, most cards have THREE versions.
We'll call them:
- Retail Border with INC (no dot) on back (These will be ###[a])
- Retail Border with INC. (dot) on back (These will be ###[b])
- Hobby Factory Set (HFS) border (These will be ###[c])
The retail factory set that I busted simply had the same front borders as as the cards that were in packs.
Now, the exceptions:
There are 9 checklist cards (the DK checklist has INC/INC. versions) do not have copyright info, so no INC/INC. versions. These will be simply listed as the [a] version. The HFS border differences will be the [c] version. There will be no [b] versions for the non-DK checklists. This is to keep all the HFS set borders as the [c] versions. Admin liked this idea and supports it.
There are 14 cards in the HFS that do not have a different border than the Retail. These 14 will have no [c] version.
Yes, these will all be listed as one VERY large set listing. Due to the fact that there is no single complete "parallel" set, we did not feel comfortable trying to determine what would then constitute a set. This way, for you "basic set" builders, it won't matter which version you have, the system will be able to tell you if you have 1 of each card number. And for you "master set" builders, you will have 2287 cards to chase to get the master set!
I still have an import file to build, and I am waiting now on Admin to do some en masse edits to the set (I already did many earlier). I need him to do them before I upload the additions, and then we'll need him to do some "backgroung magic" with the upload to get them sorted right.
Thanks to ALL who helped, offered help, and have contributed to this. We're almost there.
