It seems  and I may be wrong concerning the sold prices on the no dot one and not the dot version coming from sports lots. 

There are folks collecting cards with no dots. There is no way to know what version is sold from sportslots am I right? I see proper ebay sold listing and that gives a idea 💡 on the cards that are no dots 

SportLots does not break out pricing for these types of VARs. They'll do it for many of the ERR/COR and other VARs, usually recognized by Be&&&tt, but not items at this level. I've ordered cards blindly, 89 or 90 Pro Set for example, hoping t get the right card. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Sellers on there aren't going to take the time to break out dot/no dot for cards from that era.

As far as I've seen, TCDB is the only site that is currently cataloging the INC/INC. differences (and the like in other sets [*/**, E*/F*, etc]). Even prices coming for COMC would not be accurate (by using general site history and not single pricing from personal purchases).

One of the main reasons Beckett (and pother publications like Tuff Stuff and the like) doesn't list these is because there is generally no difference in pricing (and their thing is "price guides") between the minor variations (same with the * and ** versions in many Topps sets). Keeping that in mind, if you're not seeing pricing on card XX[b], check XX[a], and that should be close enough.

That is my point and thanks for your thoughts. Sports lots is using prices for cards that may or may not be the right cards on the VAR. On ebay some of these non dot variations might sell for $1 or higher. Beckett should be following TCDB as this is the official place :) I suppose this would apply to many and most VAR cards here then such as perhaps Topps stadium club also and many other card.

On this set the sold prices should apply to all dot cards as these are the normal one not the more scarcer non dot version.

I did not notice you replied till after I posted.

There is some Variations that are harder to find then others. So scarcity is implied because going through multiple cards some seem very less of a print run than others. 

My view some the junk wax era is a potential gold mine one day going to be uncovered because of the leaders in the sports card world 🌎 TCDB 

Seller's do that on eBay are just trying to take advantage of those who, in essence, don't know any better.

Also keep in mind minimum selling prices on various sites.

Sportlots - 20 cents (was 18 cents up until recently)
COMC - 45 cents (anything lower has either been there a long time or is being sold at a loss)
ebay - 99 cents for any Buy It Now item

While single-seller sites (cardbarrel & baseballcardstore.ca) can have lower base prices.

I think you will find that flagship set cards produced by the big companies from about 1987-1992 can be found in massive quantities (with very few exceptions, but of course there are exceptions). And generally, those exceptions ARE noted by the price guides.

Please also remember, TCDB was never designed to be, or take the place of, a price guide. It simply records sales for historical purposes. (If it wanted to be a "true" price guide, conditions would also have to be considered when calculating median "prices", but that's not the case and we see some really suspect "prices" in some pre-1960 sets.)
