The 1961 National City Bank Browns Football set was issued in 6 sheets of 6 cards per sheet. The cards were number as " Set No 1 / Player No. 1"; "Set No. 1 / Player No. 2";......" Set No. 2 / Player No. 1".........etc.

Most on-line checklists number the cards #1 - #36. How should I number the checklist?

Sounds like it technically should be 6 sets, each with 6 cards, numbered 1-6.
