2018 Panini Contenders Draft Picks Football Forum

Once the checklist is posted for this set, we can note the four variation cards for the 24 cards in the RPS Rookie Ticket subset. 

I have figured out the four different variations for card #101 Sam Darnold.

Base: Ball in right hand preparing to throw, Red Jersey.

A: Carrying the football in left hand, Red Jersey.

B: Ball in right hand preparing to throw or tuck it away, White Jersey.

C: Carrying the football in right hand, White Jersey.

Hopefully there are more auctions like this one in the future to help us.

If anyone finds more out, post them here!

I've figured out the four for #355 Luke Falk

Base: White Jersey

VAR A: Gray Jersey; Throwing

VAR B: Gray Jersey; Running

VAR C: Crimson Jersey

"While it is obvious that the image on the front changes for each player's edition, the back helps provide some uniformity across the lineup. Simply look to the darkened notches to determine the version you have. Cards with only two straight lines should be the base, while added notches indicate the different variations."

They do note it's not officially confirmed by Panini. However, I did click on the Sam Darnold links I provided and they were No Notches, 1 Notch, 2 Notches, and 3 Notches.

This also works for the College Ticket Variation (19 autographs from cards 126-185). The base Kalen Ballage has no notch on the back and the variation has one notch on the back.
