I agree with pretty much all of that. I don't care about the faux AU, but totally agree with you about full stats. I'd also like to see team photo cards with a checklist of all team cards on the back return.

Wholesale prices are up $2 per box on jumbos, so I'm assuming that retail will go up a couple of bucks as well.

So building this set as the 2019 year goes....
I have a few questions...
1. I bought a case of hobbu jumbo... what are the odd of getting all the series 1 base cards...
2. are the same base cards available in retail packs like at walmart?
3. when will there be a checklist available?
4. when will series 2 come out so I can preorder

Jamie,
1) A case of jumbo should net you about 8 complete base sets from Series 1, so you'll be fine.
2) Yes, same base cards available in the retail packs. They will have different insert cards though.
3) Checklist for Series 1 will likely be released 2 weeks before the release date.
4) Release date for Series 2 is June 12. Topps just started accepting wholesale orders, so it will be a while before you can pre-order. I wouldn't trust any seller that offers you anything more than 30 days in advance.

Kind of like it (nice subtle homage to 1982 design) and kind of don't like it. The modern full bleed designs make cards look more like regular photographs than cardboard trading cards. It took about 20 years but I think that is why I'm not too keen on the full bleed designs.
