2006 Pride FC MMA Forum

I have spent way too much time on google, ebay, comc, beckett, and many others trying to find any shred of evidence that this set exists. Many 2006 Pride cards are mislabeled as 2007 on ebay, which is probably the reason this set was created. Can anyone find a single card before we delete this set?

Looks like there is no 2007 set, only the 2006 set (sometime misrepresented elsewhere as 2007).

I'm moving this forum thread which originated on the 2007 listing to 2006 to preserve the question about the set.

The Pride DSE set is very real and was released in Japan in January of 2006. I have the full set and empty boxes to prove it. They are also listed on the manufactures website if you use googles way back machine.

No one was disputing a 2006 set, only a 2007 set.

Ok, I understand now. 2007 was never released. It was planned and mentioned on the website. The second installment was to be called Bushido + Otokomatsuri Edition. On March 27th 2007, Lorenzo Fertitta, co-owner of Zuffa and its subsidiary MMA production Ultimate Fighting Championship, had made a deal to acquire all assets of Pride Fighting Championships from Dream Stage Entertainment. This deal would stamp out and chance of a 2nd set produced by the manufacturer Broccoli.
