2021-22 Wild Card Alumination Basketball Forum

Hello, First Time Posting on here.. 

Few questions with set. 

**Liked this set for it price. Bought 4 hobby boxes & 1 retail. Hit 3 chase packs & 1 red pack from retail. Got 2 boxes had more than 4 auto's. 

1. I got an error card. A Rising Star Insert ( RS-14 -Johnny Juzang should been serial# out of 99)-- Totally Missing players name and serial number on front. Basically it never the the gold print stuff.. like missed the process of all print that needed that color.  Should I contact Wild Card? Or do they add error cards on database? (Couldn't figure out how to add pic to here.) Also got a card the chase word barely shows. 

2. The Database checklist missing alot from this set still. Got variations not listed yet. Autographs not showing all the players..... Are they ever going to update it? 

Anyone else get any error cards from this set?   Wirth more being an error or better off contacting Wild Card to if can get a replacement or fixed?   Not sure of best option

1. If it was a printing error and missed a foil step, those are not listable in the database.

2. The site is crowd-sourced like Wikipedia. If something is missing, please submit an inaccuracy report on the specific set with all details needed to update it.

And to note why Wild Card, and similar sets, seem to be missing checklists is because a) the manufacturers tend to not publish them and b) even when released they pull a Panini and usually just use a numeric system. What's wrong with numeric you ask???? Well, the card itself will be alphanumeric containing both numbers and letters. Because of this it takes forever at times to confirm an accurate checklist so it can be uploaded. Oh, and unannounced parallels being included....

A question to anyone who's collected cards from this set:

Are the Hobby base cards different from the Retail base cards?  

I've only bought hanger packs & blaster boxes, so all of my cards are Retail in origin.  The typical Retail base cards have the plain silver foil front, and the backs are "matte"-ish, so the cards tend to curve towards the back.

Somewhere along the way, I managed to get four base cards that are very glossy on the back - and thus, remain straight.  The front is the same, so it's not one of those "flip stock" things.  I was curious if those four were actually Hobby base cards or yet another type of "parallel".
