Hi, just wanted to share.
I've never come across this before nor even heard of the concept.
We opened the first pack of our 2023 Heritage box and pulled a purple refractor. When I looked it up, it said they were only found in hot boxes.
We've only opened two packs so far but I'm guessing that each pack will have one of these purple refractors. Very cool.

I've only encountered a hot box a couple of times ever. One I was only buying packs and didn't have enough money to buy more. That was for 1998-99 Be A Player, where the packs contain all inserts (autos or golds). I have also seen some Allen & Ginter years have done it, where all the cards have a foil border.

One Hobby box per case contains purple refractors, which is considered the "Hot Box"

Okay thanks. Not super-rare but a really nice surprise nonetheless.

I was fortunate enough to get a hot box on my first blaster I bought. I bought several more with no luck on a hot box.

I encountered a "Hot Box" back in 2020 with a box of Allen & Ginter I bought. Every single card from the box was a Silver Portrait. At the time I was quite disappointed as I absolutely had no intention on putting this set together at all; I felt I wasted my money. I was just trying to complete the base set. If nothing else I have a bunch of nicer traders. LOL!

Awesome and Congrats GoldenEagles! Sure beats a box of Hot Pockets ... unless you're really, really hungry?

Lol @ Buccaneer. I was gonna add that Hot Box was something way different when I was much much younger. And also I had no idea that this was a thing with card boxes. I’d feel like I hit a jackpot or something, if I came across one of these.
