2021-22 Ultra Hockey Forum

Just to start a firestorm debate. I just saw a New Galleries posting for this set on the home page. What caught my eye was the set name. An Ultra set, but named Fleer Ultra instead hence emphasis in the Subj line. Set was added end of May. Fairly sure that the DB standard is just Ultra; putting this out there in case I am mistaken about how we treat this new standalone version. I do remember that the Ultra cards packed into the Fleer Showcase packs were just Ultra as well.

And then I see this IR...

These are made by Upper Deck and they correctly call them Fleer Ultra...not Ultra.

Like I said, in case I'm mistaken. Just remembering the multiple past debates on the use of Ultra.

When a company obtains rights to another company's brand names they have to use the correct name.  Same with Panini and it's use of Donruss and Pinnacle brand names.
