1955 Christopher Milk San Francisco 49ers Football Forum

Not having any luck searching the internet for information on this set. 1955 was the only year Moegle and Matthews were together on the team.  Moegle's rookie season, Matthews last season in the NFL.

PSA has the 33 card (hand cut) set listed, "1955 49ers Christopher Dairy Hand Cut" [1]. Only one person has the collection in the set registry and stated "The most difficult regional SF 49ers set by far" [2]. Beckett provides little information, most notably stating "Three unfolded cartons were uncovered in 2001..." [3]. I did not see any additional information on the uncut panels / milk carton sides.

33 card set? His last sentence (link [2]), "If you have any players I don't have listed I'd like to see it." If there were 2 players per carton then there must be at least one more player.

Checking the roster, these are the other possible players:

Lem Harkey (rookie obtain from Pittsburgh, not sure when trade occurred)
Bill Johnson
Ernie Smith (rookie)
Ted Vaught (rookie)
Lowell Wagner

I should have said "a 33 card set" instead of "the 33 card set". PSA is considering it "complete/100%" regarding their set registry which I am sure only complies with their population report (those which they have graded/authenticated). I did not see any graded/authenticated by SGC or BGS. I have not seen any historical sales of cartons nor hand cuts. Also, I have yet to find Beckett's reference for the 2001 unfolded cartons. I have seen other references for "49er Club" related cartons, allowing kids to enter a designated end-zone area, but none specific to this "Picture-Pak". I will update if I come across any more information.

That's a new site for me. Interesting there is no mention of San Francisco 49ers / Football / etc. in the title nor description.
