Google tells me that it's Dolores Costello. I'll see if I can find the set.

Looks like the text was typed on manually.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Yes, quite possible that Google is full of crap. I just did a lens search. I just did it again and now it say's maybe Mae Murray. I haven't been able to find a match for a set either. I agree looks like the type on the back might be added after from the collector. Although a side note if it is Delores Costello she's Drew Barrymore's grandmother.

Every actress and photo from that era looks the same to me. I don't think I'd be certain unless I found the exact photo referenced.

Funny I did the same exact thing and got the same exact (inconsistent) results.

Try this (not sure but) - Marcovitch Beauties 1932
Description: We love these black and white pictures of beautiful women, but as they have no information on the reverse, not even the company's name, we can't tell you anything about them. All the cards are numbered on the left bottom corner and some of them may be different pictures of the same women. The majority are head and shoulders images and rather demure, but there are a few racier images (by 1930s standards). A nice set with cards size 66 x 35mm.
Number of cards in set: 18
