Double sided jersey has a jersey piece on both sides, and the Double sided Jersey/Patch has a jersey on front and patch on the back.

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

Dumb question...How do I tell the difference on the back between a jersey and a patch ?

FRom what I see and from the Release Notes looks like the Jersey Patches is two patches (from a jersey), one on each side

Are we sure these are actually different sets or just 1 set and it can come with either type of material?
Also why is the set named Titanium and not Private Stock Titanium?

The Release Notes have been updated to help tell the difference, and I've submitted a few IRs to move images to the correct spots. Unfortunately they used the same design and insert name below the card number on each set and didn't differentiate "Jersey" and "Patch" (everything is described as "Jersey"), so the only way to tell them apart is the swatch material itself. The Jersey one is single-color jersey material (usually has holes in it but not always) and there's no stitching anywhere, and these were inserted one per pack. The Patch one usually has multiple colors and textures and should have stitching. Although most of the Patch ones appear to have patch material on both sides, it looks like some have a jersey/patch mix where only one side has it.
I've also submitted IRs to rename this set and the Postseason Edition one to include "Private Stock", just as it appears on packaging and on the hockey set, and I have another IR in to transfer the Postseason Edition packaging from this set to that one.

I have both versions of #121 Trent Dilfer/Tony Banks. There is one slight difference that actually makes them different sets rather than just some of them happen to have patches on them...the patch cards are on noticeably thicker cardstock. Like twice as thick. Other than that, there does not seem to be any differentiation aside from the patch pieces.
Also, for the cards that appear to have a regular swatch on one side and a patch on the other - are we really sure that the regular swatch isn't a lame "one color patch" from the interior of a number/name rather than the edge that has color breaks and stitching?

It's possible, and the thickness to accommodate the patches makes sense. I'll add that to the Release Notes too.

Ok the card thickness being different makes it clear that they are separate releases and not one of those situations where the company just put whatever on the card, which has been known to happen.
