Right now only #250 is listed as a Promo card for this set but I have two cards that are #'d 243 & 249. Not sure how this needs to be corrected.

No doubt, before I get an answer, this will be buried in the Forums. So be it, they are for trade if anyone sees this and wants them. One still has "SCRATCH OFF" on the front, the other is blank.  It appears as if it was scratched off but there is no code.

Looks like we have a couple issues.

1 - The #250 card shouldn't be listed as a Promo (unless they were handed out at shows or shops)

2 - If you have 243 & 249, there are probably others. So, we will need to know if there were others that were redemptions. If no one answers, I'll investigate a little later today.

You would think some hockey collectors would have bought these packs and would be able to shed more light on these.  It is not an old set so it is not like the cards are obscure.

They might still be waking up. :) I know that's where I am right now. LOL

The packaging doesn't show anything about a rookie redemption. I know Fleer would sometimes include redemption cards for players not yet under contract when the set went live, but I don't know if Upper Deck did that as well. I know in later Ultra sets the rookies from the current season were redemption cards, and the rookies in the actual packs were the guys who came in later the previous season. 

While that is very much a stretch to say that's what's going on here, maybe it will give one of our better researchers (I'm not one) something to dig in to.

True, but it doesn't specifically say they are rookie redemptions. It could also be for autographs not yet fulfilled or any number of reasons.
