1998 Press Pass VIP Racing Forum

When I pulled the two cards back in 1998 both cards card stock were already delaminating.  Was I just unlucky on my pulls or has anyone else had  similar experience.

Not from this set, but I've had this happen a few times. Notably, for me, it has been mid-90s Pinnacle cards where I've seen this pop up the most. The worst I've seen it '01 Stadium Club Diamond Kings. Wuite a few times I've gotten them, in penny sleeves at that, and the front peeled straight off. For that set, its almost like there was a sticky substance also on the front which made it worse than the UV coatings used. Multiple sources and players used and all have had the same issue.
