Are we going to track the figures now or just the cards?

Admin has said, no figurines. Just cards.

It appears that scan was added back in 2012, we've had discussions on here since then that has almost universally said cards only.  I'm sure there are other scans like this that just need to be replaced.

That sample pic would be appropriate for the Packaging section, but the checklist should feature only the cards.

Yes this was debated a few times and Admin has said no and deleted checklists of Starting Lineup that did not include a card.  I am OK with that; when I was new to the site, I made the error of including checcklists without cards but now know better.  Unfortunately, most of these cards will never appear as most collector's do not remove them from the packaging.  I have many of the baseball figures and cards but I could not find a way to scan just the card without opening the package which is just not happening.

Maybe when everything is cleaned up on the card side of this site, then we can expand with a category of sports collectibles (magazines, i.e. Baseball Digest was in a recent thread). But till then, that side of the discussion is dormant.  Just like the name convention of sets, Stadium Club vs Topps Stadium Club has been discussed, has two opposing views but has been accepted to stay as is. (I can already hear swearing going on in the two camps).

But I must say, this is a nice scan of the figurine in package; I wonder how he did it without getting too much light in.

I'm 99.9% sure that is a photograph of the packaged figure, not a scan. As a long time action figure collector as well as cards I know it's not easy to get a good photograph.
