Is it possible that there are multiple cards from one player in this set? I have 2 Doug Wilson cards that say 2007-08 OPC on them. One is his RC the other the 89-90 set. Both have matching hologram numbers on the back of the card and the COA. I'm confused.

I did some looking but no luck yet. I am sure you being a hockey guy we likely just checked out the same haunts. Plus my Charlton guides only go to 06-07. I would say that there is an unlisted VAR that you have the honour of adding to the site. You seem very knowledgeable to Mr Milson, as I am too Mr Ranford and trust your final judgement.

I know next to nothing about hockey, but Beckett's description of this set says "A number of players signed older previously issued O-Pee-Chee cards for this product. Each was signed on-card with a special UD hologram attached to the actual card and a matching hologram attached to an accompanying certification card. The cards were not numbered but have been assigned numbers below alphabetically." I interpret that as meaning any given player signed x number of prior cards (say 50) which could all be the same card, 5 each of 10 different cards, 10 each of 5 different cards, or whatever. A search for this set at COMC shows multiple cards for the same player listed; there are 4 pictured for Mike Bossy for example, which tends to support this idea, unless I'm missing something due to my limited knowledge of this product.

Agreed HutNut, that was my assumption as well.

To try and help out-- Topps does a similar thing with their buyback cards (2017 topps for example) and players have multiple cards in that set.

I don't know why I have so many Freddy Garcia and David Legwand cards.

Typical Beckett. The cards are numbered. Just like all the other Buybacks, use the actual card number printed on the card. And put the year/brand in Note2, e.g., 1989-90 O-Pee-Chee.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
