1978 Topps Baseball Forum

If anyone is interested I can send you a spread sheet where I attempted to document the location and approximate dates (some actual dates) of each image used in this set.    

That is epic.

There is a member who has a Users List of game dates.

If you post the spreadsheet someplace public (like google docs) you could then link to that page using the trivia or external links from the 1978 set. You could also leave a comment on each card page with the info for that specific card.

That would also be an interesting blog post if you wanted to blog about the various cards and where/when they are from.  You could probably spend a whole year (or more) going card by card through the set.

Just a few ideas on how you could share this information that you compiled.

There is a way to manually enter the info here on the site, if you have the time? 

At the top of the page under the TCDB logo click on the down arrow beside Browse - Choose Baseball from the menu - Select Browse by Year (1978) - Then pick Topps (This will bring up an overview of the base set) - Find and click on Checklist - From here click on the card# you wish to add your info to. This will bring up an image of the card, some stats about who uploaded the picture, how many members have this card etc. - Below all that and an advert you will see in bold Comments. To the right of that a green box +Add - If you left click on that button you should be able to attach your findings to the card.

that's such a cool thing, must have been very time consuming.

It would be best to create a User List, that way all the cards from he same set can be grouped together.
