2001 MLB Showdown 1st Edition Baseball Forum

I have some that are marked first edition and ones that do not have the marking.

I am not seeing a checklist for the ones that do not say 1st edition.

am I missing it, or do we need to create a checklist for that as well?

There were three different sets. 1st Edition, Pennant Run, and Unlimited. The othere two are listed as their own set right next to the 1st Edition set in the 2001 set listings.

My eyes may not be that great this time of night, but this set looks identical to the first edition, minus the 1st edition logo.

Exactly, that is the only difference.

I see the difference but why is the set that is not 1st Edition called "Unlimited"?  There is nothing on the card that says unlimited and in my references, they do not refer to it as such.  Are we creating names for sets?

As far as I know, there is no 1st Edition parallel for this (update) set.
