2008 Score Football Forum

A couple years ago I bought a wax box of this set an attempted to put the set together, almost got it. At the time I didn't know about the factory set and the updates therein. I recently found a factory set at a decent price and bought it. The set was factory sealed when I received it. As I am going through it and cmpare I find 4 cards on this checklist that I cannot verify their existence, specifically:

The HC and FS cards that I can compare are the exact same card, no stamps, photo variation, team name change or anything else. Those on eBay and COMC, while labelled Factory Set Update are really the Super Bowl XLIII parallels. While Beckett does list them, it wouldn't be the first time a checklist there was wrong. The same 2 members have these cards on their checklist and no one is showing as owning them. And these are the only ones without scans. Am I missing something or should these 4 cards be pulled? And for those that are wondering, yes, I am trying for the master set.

Those four cards should be pulled in my opinion. I also purchased a Factory Set and it didn't contain any updates for the cards mentioned. I certainly wouldn't trust Beckett on this one. Their checklist is missing the update cards for 106 Favre, 167 Taylor, 168 Pennington, 169 Berrian, 170 Hicks and 231 Bush. I had those cards added to the TCDb checklist via IR when I was going thru the set.

Remove them. You already proved they weren't in the factory set when you bought a sealed one.

I just generated IRs to have the four cards removed from the checklist.
