By saying that there are 313 different cards in this set, one will never have the "Complete Set" as there are not 313 different cards if you have 1 card with 2 stickers. The number of cards should be 198.

There are 313 individually numbered stickers, not cards. The "cards" are the backs or what the stickers are attached to. And if anyone did as intended, you would remove the 313 stickers from the cards and put them in the sticker album.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

C2, I fully understand that but the way the site works, there is no way to show this set as complete in one's collection as you can only add 198 cards (stickers) in the checklist. Stickers that are found together on the back of the same card are one "card" even though there are 2 stickers on the one "card". A collector will only ever show 63.3% of hos set complete when he has all the stickers in his collection.

If stickers 32 and 67 are on the same card, shouldn't they just be listed separately (and scanned as such)?

One of those that stills needs fixing; separate entry for each sticker number.

If/when this set gets fixed, what will happen to existing collections?

Variations Variations?????????
Every time I pick up another card - there is a different / new variation from what is in the DB???!!! Seems silly to catalog all of them. If they were produced randomly there could be an infinite number of variations (Well, for the mathematicians out there - not truly unlimited so let’s just call it a crapload LOL)

~ Patrick Please Please Please read my profile before making a trade proposal. My "wants" for my Cardinals collection is accurate from 1900 - 2008. I still have about 12,000Plus Cardinals cards from 2009-present to sort through and enter. Please do not offer any Cardinals cards from 2008-present unless you contact me first as there is a chance I already have it amongst the multitude to still go through. I still have about 30K Cardinals duplicates that are not yet entered in the database as FS/FT. "For the love of the game"

Right - what PartagasX said. I think we have determined that sticker sets that have "collectible" backs are to be listed as stickers as the base set and the backs as an "Insert" set. Yes, it means cataloging the fronts separately from the backs, but technically there are X number of stickers and Y number of collectible backs. If a person wishes to track the bazillion variants of sticker-to-back combinations, sorry, but you have to do that on your own.

This is a good question. I haven't looked - but if it isn't "fixed" yet, this is a task Admin needs to be involved with, as they can make it right.
Ok, just looked at the set, and even the first sticker - that's just insanity. I realize there are people who collect the stickers with the backs intact, but wow. Anyway, so what I gather is that if a member has sticker 1 / 263 in their collection now, they would want to have sticker #1 AND sticker #263 in their collection when each one is split up. As for the backs, since they would be a completely new entry, people would probably have to put them in new (just like with any other set that has its checklist recently added).
And I decided to add the sticker backs as an insert. Let's see where it goes from there.

Wow, what a mess. Each individually numbered sticker needs to be treated as a separate checklist entry. And there should be no variations since the backs should be considered separate cards (since they can be physically separated). And there was no care given by Topps as to what stickers ended up on what backs.
I agree this mess needs Admin. Not just baseball, my Topps football stickers aren't catalogued because those checklists are a mess.
