I've searched the forums for this answer before posting. About once a month, I go through my collection and see which set is incomplete and try to complete that. I recently picked up a 2014 Topps update set and that was listed as #2 at 99.4% complete. What? So I find out it says I have 328/330. Which of course are the two misprint numbers. I just went back in and now it's not listed as an incomplete set in my collection, but when I go to the 2014 Topps Update Summary it still says 328/330 99.4% complete. Is this somethign that can be fixed or no? It looks like historically it could have been listed differently and a decision was made to list the two as variants of the similar numbers. Is that making the system read this as incomplete?

Mine does the same thing. I have all 330 base cards and 2 variations. It shows 328 collected, but master set shows 332. I have asked and no one can explain it. I believe it has something to do with how the variations are tagged, but that's just a theory.

IIRC, it's because the system recognizes the two misprinted numbers as being the same as the originally-numbered cards, even with the letters on the end, so it thinks the US-117s and the US-164s are two cards instead of four. Only Admin can fix this one. I'll submit an IR to have him check into it.

Sabermetricians collect and summarize the relevant data from this in-game activity to answer specific questions. The term is derived from the acronym SABR, which stands for the Society for American Baseball Research, founded in 1971. The term "sabermetrics" was coined by Bill James, who is one of its pioneers and is often considered its most prominent advocate and public face.[
