Just by looking at images such as COMC and google, it looks like they were most likely released in panels to be ripped apart.

If they were released as panels only, then does the single checklist need to be removed...even though i do like being able to read the backs of the single cards because they are larger. Another example may be the 1989 Topps (NFL) Box bottoms versus Box panels, i'm not sure as to the site rules on an item that was only released in panels.

I don't think so, because they were designed to be ripped apart and someone may get one as a single. The Kids Sports Illustarted cards are both listed as singles and panels.

I've got 3 singles that have clearly been separated however they are not from the same panel. So I'd say list uncut panels and the singles (but maybe note they were not released that way)

Singles is the base set with panels as insert/related.

Having them and similar sets listed both ways allows people to track/collect them as they desire. They were issued in panels that were intended to be separated.

Not removed. The panels set/checklist needs to be moved to the singles set as an Inserts and Related Sets. IR submitted.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Listing the singles as the base set and the panels as a parallel set is the guideline set forth by TCDB for handling sets that were distributed exclusively in panels. This keeps the individual cards as the focus of the set, while allowing those who like to collect the full panels a means to track those as well. Some people can still choose to list their panels as the individual cards that make up the panel. This method gives members options, and should cover all collectors' preferences (or, if not all, most).

I list my panels as both panels and singles. If a member wants a single I let them know it's part of a panel. If they don't want the whole panel, I will separate them if I can find members who want the other singles.
