1971 Dell Today's Team Stamps Baseball Forum

I'm new, but in looking at some Royal's stamps I have gotten, I notice some of the players are in other team's uniforms. For instance, Carl Taylor is in his Cardinals uniform. Is this a common occurance? Thank you.

I don't know about this specific set, but different team uniforms was very common in the older sets for players who changed teams. It still happens, but is less common today in my experience. For example, the 2019 Panini Legacy card for Odell Beckham Jr. card shows him in a Giants uniform but lists him (correctly) as a member of the Browns. Basically, it means because of production schedules the card company had to use an older photo, and the only one available showed him in his old team's uniform. Faster production processes and the fact that many card sets are released during the current year rather than ahead of the season's start means it is less common--they typically can wait until they get a picture in the right uniform.

I have the Tiger's stamps from this set. There are a few guys in Senator's uniforms, but the logo and the team on the back says Tigers,
