2000 Topps & Traded Favorite Cards

by chvlDm - 52 cards (Last updated on Feb 21, 2024)

1. 2000 Topps #15 Derek Jeter

Jeter says defense is #1 priority on the back. Criticized for throwing on the run too much but, makes cool looking card.

Red Stats: '99 AL Hits leader

2. 2000 Topps #28 Homer Bush

Dust cloud & great name!

3. 2000 Topps #37 Rey Ordonez

Star defensive player applying tag in the dust to the great Ellis Burks in a Giants vs. Mets matinee.

4. 2000 Topps #44 Hank Aaron

I'd like to see Topps Flagship stick to current rosters. Retired legend cards are cool, but I'd prefer to see them in other sets or as inserts. Looks awesome though.

5. 2000 Topps #50 Sammy Sosa

Style points: look at those kicks & matching gloves.

Red Stats: Led league in K's 3 years in a row!

6. 2000 Topps #43 Dean Palmer

Nice head-to-toe cropping and bat drop.

7. 2000 Topps #51 Randy Johnson

Monster pitcher. Arms and upper back looks like stretched bow and you're about the get a baseball delivered like an arrow.

1999 NL CY
Red Stats: '99 leader in IP, K, GS, CG, & ERA

8. 2000 Topps #68 Eli Marrero

Nice head-to-toe cropping & bat drop.

9. 2000 Topps #53 Dante Bichette

Ivy soaking up the sun during a Rockie vs. Cub matinee.

10. 2000 Topps #60 Pedro Martinez

HOFer leg kick windup with bizarre blurry light force field around his head.

1999 AL CY
Red Stats: '99 leader in W's, K's, & ERA.

Billy Wagner is pitching at Shea in New York.  Field level seats were a dullish orange
